I had my first ever hatch today and had great luck; however, i had one come out and has something hanging from it. Could anyone please tell me what this is or what i am supposed to do for it?

Welcome to BYC and congrats on your successful hatch.
The photo that is showing is hard to make out -- it woudl be best to remove the chick from under the heat lamp (the red distorts color in the photo) and take some close up shots in natural lighting so we are better able to see what is going on. Try to get a few different angles, as the issue is in the rear/under the chick a shot from above doesn't show much of what we need to see.
