Hatch rate question??

Hatched these cuties this week, and,was eondering due I determine hatch rate from eggs put on lock down or eggs put in on day 1?

It all depends what you are looking for. I use two rates. I NEVER count clears. (If they didn't start developing (and they are local not shipped) there's a good chance they weren't fertile and that shouldn't be counted in the rate in my opinion.(Unless you are looking at rate from a potential buyer to see what your chances are.) I calculate rate based on what eggs started developing x what eggs hatched and I also calculate rate based on the number of eggs that made it to lockdown x how many hatched. I am most interested in the lockdown rate as that has the most significance for me.
 
Thanks good to know we try our best to document everything..had 41 eggs , 27 were viable and went to lock down..All hatched except 2 that were shrinked wrapped..just got one out and working on other so guess the rates are good so far. New all 41 were not going to rake off since they just started laying not very long ago.Wish us luck.Heres the one we just helped #26, now#27 is more questionable pic 2
