I cannot find how to post pictures. One of my barred rock chicks has a larger white blotch on head, noticeably more white in new feathering, and mostly orange beak. But..... Fairly large amount of black on the legs. Tiny comb still at 2.5 weeks. I ordered five females. From description, could this still be a pullet? My son chose this chick from a day old as his own, and he wants to show it in 4 h. Any tips are appreciated!
A couple other chicks that were ordered straight run ( welsummers) have impressively large combs, red, already at 2.5 weeks. This gives me hope that my questionable barred rock is perhaps a pullet as ordered.
