We are having the same here Sassy....not staying on the ground...but hey its snowing!!! lol Nice pic Cajun....wish it looked like that here....kept the kids home today..we going up to Oakdale to get my lil sis...and we want them to see some snow lol

We have a good 2 inches on the ground now. Be careful....make sure the roads are open! Lots of closures now....

Started snowing here (Galvez, 20 miles south of BR) about 30 minutes ago, nothing sticking, no accumulation. 35*
These pics were taken around 8:30 and it was coming down heavy!! I guess we got a coouple of inches!! Now the suns coming out and everything is starting to melt!!

But man the snow we got in 2008 really spoiled us!! Before we would have just be excited for it to snow now it's like "Well, it's nothing like 08'"
Now it's just plain nasty outside!! I'm seriously getting tired of sinking down 3 inches everytime I walk outside!! My poor chickens.... Their out there saying "Momma please do something!! We're tired of being knee deep in water!!"
Note to self: Gotta start calling aound and getting a truck load of sand set up to deliever!!
