Striped Chick identification help

This chick has different markings than the other chicks. Instead of being brownish yellow like the rest it has 2 brownish-red stripes down its back.
Is it the same breed with just a few oddball markings or did it get mixed up in the wrong group?
We ordered brown egg laying chicks.
Could it be male?

I was wondering if it was stripped of feathers or something, lol.

I though I was going to have to sex a naked chicken......THAT didnt sound right...hide


I wish I could help. I think its super neat!!

That's what I thought, too!  It's ok that your spelling sucks, nobody's perfect...  But you gotta admit, that's kind of funny if you think about it!

That's what I was thinking... or it could be a RSL roo with too much coloring...

I have 3 RIR chicks that look like that. At first my BFF thought they were red EEs LOL.
