What's the difference between a Barred Rock and a Plymouth Rock?

Does the barred rock have any behavioral/egg productivity differences? I really want a barred rock, but I'm unsure if a plymouth rock is just the same thing.

anybody can add an item to that tab and their review..

But barring is a color , plymouth rock is the breed, usually shortened to rock... some of the colors have different charateristics , in plymouth rocks the white tends to be a better meat bird and is used the the cornish cross
 
I have one Barred Rock And She lays a light brown egg with white spots on it is that common or uncommon I love the color of the egg
