Ready for another update? OK, here it is...the boys are 2.5 weeks old and there's really good news all around
Simon: He's doing well, and growing big...a whopping 5 pounds! His eating and sleep apnea issues are getting better and he should be coming home very soon.
He'll probably have to be on a sleep apnea monitor at home just to be on the safe side.
Dexter: He's HOME and doing great.
Linus: He had his ventilator removed yesterday!!! He's now on a CPAP and will have another Echo done today to see how his heart is handling it. He had actually removed his vent tube by himself a few days ago (yikes) and they left it off for 30 minutes to see if he could handle it, but unfortunately he wasn't ready yet. But he's doing much better this time.
I have no idea how much longer he'll have to be in the CVICU...hopefully not too much longer.
