Ain't it true. I have all the stuff I need to clean and re-do all 7 of my coops (chickens, ducks and geese) if the rain will just stop. We have off-and-on heavy rain and thunder showers for the next week at least. I am really having to work at not complaining about the rain though. I know that the drought is starting up again in this part of the state. We have been getting a lot of rain which I hope is re-charging our well. All the ponds and tanks are overflowing and the wild birds are having a ball.
Yup - this is making me nuts. I tried refreshing the Littles' growout pen yesterday, and now it's all wet. OK, so maybe more clean on top, but wet. Whenever the rain stops, I have a LOT of work to do. Good thing I do deep litter - at least it's only mixing and putting in fresh, and not so much of the shoveling out bit...

Edit to add: I should say that I am ALWAYS grateful for rain. It's just that it's making things a PITA right now.
