How do I kill them? Without chemicals? I kill them on the chickens with vasoline...but what about on the ground? I hate to use SevenDust...The warnings on the side of the container is scary. Any suggestions?

Not sure about fleas on the ground but...
You can use organic apple cider vinegar in the chicken water-about 1 tsp per gal. if I remember correctly. It is a natural flea preventative for animals.
A woman I know with a farm and horses uses it regularly with the horses, dogs, and other critters. No fleas, no internal parasites.
Just use the search option above and search apple cider vinegar and you can find the correct dosage mixed with water, in case I am wrong about the amount.
