Game Hens?

Someone gave us 11 hens - which are apparently game hens. Anyone got any comments on this one and the two pics below?
They are laying eggs, not sure which ones, but we have found 3 eggs in one day. They are apparently 7 months old.

No idea on the breed but they are very pretty

When we got these hens, our dogs ran out and they flew off high into the trees, on the roof etc. Now we have accommodated them with our regular chickens. We had 6 chickens - one laying silkie mix who is very broody and has raised two sets of babies including a big red that hatched out of a bunch of eating eggs our neighbor gave us. There is the main rooster who came with her, two other roosters which were their babies, the large red hen and a dominique mix that was given to us as a baby.

One of the roosters was the bottom of the pecking order... BUT when these girlies arrived he took up with them and hangs with them wherever they go.

They have laid a total of 3 eggs, not sure at all which of them is doing the laying, but the eggs where paler and larger than the silkie eggs which are medium size [bigger than bantam eggs but not large].

They roost under the carport on a shambolic chicken 'house' made up of an old bed bottom, a big wooden board and an old soft tub!!!

All the eggs bar one were laid in one of the two nesting boxes that our regular silkie lays in. One was found at the back of the house where we saw her making a little nest behind a stacked pallet against the wall.

They could be Old English Games, non bantam. The 2 on the left in the second photo look like they are Blue Wheaten. The others could be Black Breasted Red or possible Gold Birchen.. not sure as I haven't seen too many BBRed or GB game hens.

most certainly game, but it takes a more knowledgeable person than I to call the breed by the hens. But I love the way game hens look, all proud and alert, and those long tails. so close to the original wild ancestors.

Let me check my handy dandy SOP, but I am wondering about the green legs on the two I see.

Ok, I checked...
the ones with the green legs are a mixed color, which is probably what brings out the green.
However, they all appear to be OEGs, though not pure in color. That doesn't mean they are not pure of breed.
The color on the lighter ones would be Wheaten of the leg color was correct. As for the others that are more
Partridge colored, I would say they are Black Breasted Red or close to it.

They look very healthy and alert. Consider yourself lucky to have such nice birds.
I don't believe they are OEG but American game rather, American games can have any variety of leg color depending
their bloodlines. They all appear to be black breasted reds, with the wheatens producing males that are lighter red in hackle
and saddle feather coloring. Those partridge colored hens look to be that of some black breasted darker reds. I especially
like the hen in the front, of the last pic. She's stunning.You definitely scored.
