ok i haven't done this since i was a kid. and now i'm grown with my own kids and i'm teaching them. i got some eggs from a farm i do A/C work for. so i'm not sure their background or what not. so what do i do with a chick that hasn't formed right from the getgo? like i've heard of chicks hatching with their insides "outside". and things like that. you oviously can't let it live like that. so how do you get rid of it.i know that sounds bad but it's a fact of life. right?

Take a pair of sharp scissors and stretch out its neck over a trash can and cut firm and quick. If you can't do it, it won't live too long in my experience. Once in a while one will make it but normally bacteria kills the chick.

I have found that sharp pruning shears are the quickest and most painless for the chick - sadly not as painless for the human. So sorry you have to deal with this.

sorry...
