ornamental chicken breeds contest is now open :D - Page 7

Do they have to be real show chickens?  I have a Silver Duckwing OEGB, but we don't show and he's not dubbed.  Can I still enter him?

We are a ranching family in the southeast Texas panhandle where we run a small commercial flock of hair sheep.  We have 10 Black Cochin bantams (3 frizzled), 5 Splash Cochin bantams, and one grumpy Black Silkie bantam hen.  Other critters on the outfit include 3 good using horses, 3 barn cats, a Cardigan Corgi, and my pet Boer/Spanish nanny goat.

I don't see dorkings on the list...  and that's what i've got a ton of. LOL

already put up my oegb roos, even tho the older one's tail is partially missing. my 3rd roo's tail's nonexistant, so he'll stay off for now. LOL

Welcome to the Zoo!  2 Morgans, 2 Minis, 1 Standard Poodle, 3 cats, 3 pet birds and the chickens.

Dorkings and bantam Cochins mostly, with a few others here and there.

And of course, my wonderful Hubby, who puts up with me and keeps me in check when I start to get crazy.

ok i thought this was just an online show. didn't realize the bird had to be for looks only.

it is a show but just for those that are considered and labeled ornamental and since dorkings are labeled a meat breed they are not included in this show. idk what you mean by looks only because this is more of what breeds are classified as ornamental (kinda like if they were in an actual show)
