I have three ducks a male and two females and one of my females has layed about 17 eggs but she's not sitting so what should I do?

What breed alot of domesticated ducks have the broodiness bred out of them.

They need unmediated chick starter is that what you have? And a tablespoon BY per cup of food is what they all here told me. Good luck.

Daily till 10 weeks of age. @Hughesygirl after 3 weeks you can put them on grower/ finisher or an all flock

@Miss Lydia they are Rouen I bought them from metzer farms there about to be 8 months she's made a nest for them that their in but she won't sit

Thank you so much I have it more water and seems to be doing fine now Thankfully. I know next to nothing about raising ducks as pets and any help would be great as we really love them. We live in an apartment lol so wondering how that is going to go any suggestions about pen for inside

Has anyone ever had snowy mallards? I assumed they'd be about same size or bigger then the EI but they are so tiny! And crazy lol! I've never seen anything move like this. Going to try and get a video tonight. Going to try swimming tonight with EI but not sure if I'll do mallards too.

And she may never. There is a thread on here for Rouens might go there and talk to some who have them. They will make a nest to lay their eggs in but never use it for sitting.

I plan to use this self sticking medical tape. Of it is only on the left wing do I tape both down?

I think you should wrap around body then wrap the wing affected. I have never had to deal with it so not sure. But seems I read someone else giving the info to wrap around body then wing. @Niche Flock
