Hello, I was just reading about the Swedish flower hens. From the pix it looks like you have the crested variety. Is that right? I love in So Cal & we get very hot summers. How's their heat tolerance? I'm interested in CL's and gold laced Brahmas as well. Thanks.
Yay! glad alls well! the "2" is just a second breeding pen. So if you can track them you can breed those to the ones without the 2's for greater diversity as they will be unrelated.Papa, what does the 2 stand for on some of the eggs? 2nd generation, 2 days, 2 hen house? thank you for that info, now I will need to keep track of the 2s. Thanks for the great eggs and you tedious working packing them. I don't know what is more fun opening Christmas presents or unwrapping eggs
