Yes he was attached by my dogs he almost died but I saved him just in time. He did get seriously injured but hes been healing very well indoors in his dog crate. Im like wondering if he dropped a stress egg lol or sumthing.? It happened about week and half ago tho i just found it this morning.

Hi Victor, welcome to BYC. That part about the mutants actually made me laugh. It's a normal occurrence in chickens...hens, mind you. It's not common but it happens. I just got a green one 2 weeks ago & haven't had one in several years. It was a nice surprise & some cultures consider them lucky. All of mine are in a special drawer.

Technically, it's a mis-fire. Just a bit of albumen makes it through the reproductive tract & ends up with a shell. Nothing to be alarmed about.

In re-reading your post, I understand that your rooster is in quarantine. I have no explanation for the mini egg. Stress expulsion of some kind??? Who knows.
