Michigan Chickenstock 2014 Buy/Sell/Trade

Sadly, I will not be going. I am swamped trying to get my house ready before my wedding, and working at my full time job and working on my own farm, I am not able to come to CS this year.

This makes me and my family very sad. We wish you and Grace every happiness. Please know that you will both be deeply missed.

OH for Pete's sake, Daron; I could do all that AND attend C-S with my hands tied behind my back!
KIDDING - I'll miss not seeing you, you're always one of the highlights for me! Please don't overwork, okay? Give Grace a hug from me!

I'm looking for purebred heritage turkey poults, purebred ducklings and possibly peachicks or pheasants - all under 1 week old, or hatching eggs
Mish (or others for that matter!!) if you don't find what you are looking for, I have a good friend down in the Clarkston area that breeds purebred Ancona ducks; she has a hatch going on right now, as a matter of fact, and they are just adorable!

I'm super excited I'll be able to go to CS this year!!
Hi, SpidersHuman! Glad you're able to make it!

**MARANS CHICKS FOR SALE**

I did a hatch for a gentleman in Ohio who just got a new job that's taking him away from home for awhile; thus, he cannot take them now, as originally planned.

They are $8/each, SR, and I have I believe 10 or 11 Black Copper and 9 or 10 Blue/Black.

All bred for exhibition and dark eggs; I've won several egg contests with eggs from these birds.

If anyone wants them all, I'll reduce the price to $150.

I will not bring them unless they are pre-sold. Please PM for more info.

I could have swore that I clicked directly on jlynet's post. But I will be new to CS this year. My husband got used layers 2 years ago, we are down to only 1 laying. We still have room in the coop and I want more eggs. Not looking to "raise" chickens, so I think the way to go to get more eggs is to just get layers. But I could be swayed to pullets.

This is also my first time I am very execited to meet some of you and pick up my Fayoumi Roo. I'm also looking for a heritage turkey poult or 2 would kind of like atleast one of them to be a tom.

malchick, so happy you can make the event! I'm sure you'll really enjoy it! If jlynet isn't able to help you, I have some 2-year old hens in need of a home, and would make you a right fine deal on them if you're interested. Just PM me (I won't bring them unless they are spoken for in advance). I have four production layers (Amber Links and Isa Brown), a beautiful standard-bred Barred Rock hen, and some other misc. birds.

Speaking of heritage-type birds - anyone interested in some VERY HIGH END, standard bred Barred Rock, White Rock, or Rhode Island Red, please find me at C-S so we can chat. I have a good friend who would like to share his gorgeous birds with anyone wishing to breed to standard.

I am way behind on getting the bird houses and bat boxes built. Crazy things have delayed me somewhat.
I going to try to get them constructed over the next 2 days. No promises other than I will try.
