I thought her lady parts looked a bit swollen earlier, but then they went back to normalish... She's laying in a corner with her head out the pop door. I need to get a kennel ready for the boys to move into if I catch her in the act...

they are in with her ?  Is that safe ? what if she kids in the middle of this night ?

It's going to have to be. Short of locking them in the pasture (no shelter) there's no where else they can go. They're big, but still babies. Like a cranky cocker spaniel momma with a 4-month lab puppy. I might try to drag the BIG kennel over for the boys? With a tarp on top?

I guess if she was in the flock in a pasture she would have others? Her last kids dropped in the pasture in a cold rain (December) with a Shetland pony for company. There were lots of other goats with her then.

I'm taking deep breaths. It'll be fine or it won't. :highfive:

shoot I dont know. can you put them on a short leash in there overnight ? without a chance of them hanging themselves ? I would feel awful if that happened. Of course that wouldnt stop babies from going over there to them.

well, I guess its ok to leave them together.

Camping, do you have any tire swings? A friend of mine ties small livestock to one, and it works great. They can't tangle themselves up!
