Ivermectin poisoning

From the tip of the index finger past the first joint. Some of it got smeared on his beak/side of his face. I don't think any got in his eye.

Oh, and I don't think the dogs have heartworms, their last checks were fine, but that was before we moved to our new place, got chickens and met the helpful neighbor who thinks a flea bath is all she needs for her dog. Mine are now flea infested and get treated more often with flea preventative. The chickens don't seem to have fleas, can they even get fleas?
How big compared to these blobs:

More than 2, less than 3
#2 is about 5x more than a five pound chicken should get and #3 is about 10x more than they should get. Many people give the #2 sized ones and don't have problems, so I bet you'll be fine.

Oh good! To be clear, I'm counting from left to right 1-3 and the second row as 4. So he got less than the biggest blob. I'm glad that he should be OK. He is my second rooster, the first met with newbie ignorance. I suspect he has something going on besides chicken lice, because the pinched up skin on his neck where the feather shaft emerges is red, like a pimple. Kinda looks like a rash, and it only affects the skin around the feather, the skin in between the feathers looks normal. I noticed tonight whatever the redness is has spread to the webbing between his toes. But I think that is a post for a different topic, tomorrow I will read up on how to start a new thread and I will try to post pictures there. Thank you so much for the reassurance and the welcome!
