Props to the HovaBator Genesis 1588 w/automatic turner!

Hi guys,
I am planning to breed my teen rooster and hen, the Hovabator 1885 was recommended to me by another member, should I get it?

It should be fine. I just wanted to let you know what I had seen with mine. I had bought 4 new 1588. I sold two of them. I thought i would hold onto the other two just incase I needed them. I only hatched in them like 4 times. I had some good hatches. It was trial and error. My first hatch I read and followed all the instructions. Filling with water where and when needed. My problem was too much humidity and had to adjust. The chicks where drowning in the egg when hatching. So candle and keep a eye on the aircell. I went to using the smaller water chamber. I ended up getting a cabnet and hatcher off CL and love them. The cabnet with hatching tray on bottem was like $350. I also bought the cabnet hatcher. The 1588 is good but can't beat a cabnet.

Does anyone have recommendations on what spare parts to have on hand for the HovaBator Genesis 1588? I'm in Alaska and if anything goes wrong, I wouldn't get any parts in time.
