BYC Café

Yesterday, I went for a mug of coffee in the cafeteria at work and got "stuck" in the hall on my way back to my office. The pain was so sharp down my left leg I had to stop and lean against the wall. Two co-workers asked what was wrong and when I told them, they offered to support me to get back to my office. It was truly embarrassing, but I got back and sat down. I left work early to get my Tramadol prescription.

I had bought this over the weekend and it was waiting for me on the front porch when I got home.

I'm wearing it under my sweater today. Don't know if it's the belt, the Tramadol or a combination of the two but I'm MUCH better today than yesterday.

I called the Dr. office to push again on the insurance authorization. They will eventually have to authorize it because I obviously need the injection. I'm leaving for vacation on May 11 and I NEED that injection before I go. So I asked that we schedule the injection now and I'll self-pay on a payment plan until the insurance coughs up the money.

I brought an afternoon pot of java. The rain chased me in and it is starting to cool off. I am glad that the day was tolerable for you, DL! I trimmed up a tree, left over from our wind storm the other week, to get it out of where the snow plow will come through and want to pile the snow when it clears the road this weekend.

Good morning Cafe!

Weather guessers predict warmer temperatures and a glimpse of sunshine for the upcoming weekend and another biiiiiig cloud of Sahara dust to go with it. So, just like the other two recent times the sun will probably not make it through all the dust. We'll see...
But I will still be grateful for a few degrees of warmth to thaw my bones.

I always wonder how you are holding up and still can be so active and cheerful with all the cold and storms up there @Mtn Margie .

How are you and Brewster doing?

One wannabe broody left the aviary yesterday evening, now still three left to get on each others nerves :D

Have a great Friday everyone!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee.

It's frosty again here. Should be sunny today then rainy both days this weekend.

I've called in the troops to help build up the berm tomorrow. All I can do is drive the car and direct traffic.

Very glad I covered the blueberries and cherries last night. There's definitely some frost out there. Not as cold as Tuesday night, but definitely frosty.

We'll see what's left of the flowers later today/tomorrow.
