BYC Café

I opened up a new bag of loose leaf Milk Oolong tea yesterday. It is amazing!

Formosa Oolong is one of my favorites. Never tried the Milk Oolong.

I looked that up and it sounds interesting. I'll give it try.

Do you like tea sweetened or un? If I sweeten mine it's with honey not sugar.

I do the same IM...if I sweeten it, I use honey (but a little brown sugar can be nice too, especially with something like cranberry tea :) ).

I usually drink tea un sweetened.

The milk oolong is naturally sweet tasting. You should give it a try for sure

I read that, naturally sweet and creamy. I'll add it to my list of what to try. Thanks Ron :)

That is not a combination I would have put together. I'll give it a try.

Do you either of you know a good brand for black currant? Igor had boxes of that when we met and neither of us can remember the btand but it was really good.

I'm not either of the folks you were asking, but Twinings makes a real tasty black currant tea.

Happy to know you enjoy it! I usually do but my taste buds are off right now. I like to add honey Crown to Twinnings lemon ginger tea on occasion. Talk about smooth!
Haven't tried the honey Crown, I made some apple pie moonshine a while back so havent been to the state store for liquor in a while. ( State store is the only place to get booze here.) l'll have to try that combination next.

IM we've been getting some snow each week but not much- really not even worth shoveling. But then our temps have been up and down. The down being way colder for longer periods than we usually get. Over all a "not so bad," winter - hope it wipes out a lot of bad insects

At least you're not snowed in DD. Did you get to do any shopping this week? We're down to 1 car for a minute and, while I wouldn't mind riding my bike, I'm not riding in the rain. There was a time I had to do that, I'm not going to now.
