BYC Café

Good morning, Cafe, and thanks, Shad.

You've got to stop doing that Cap. :hugs It will drive you crazy. Value will come back - hopefully we have enough time. Princess says, "It's the kids' inheritance." Well, I planned on spending it.

@igorsMistress local states and governors have been proactive in enacting limitation of control measures. Individual people not so proactive. As it is becoming more evident that the elderly and infirm are not the only ones in danger, maybe folks will wise up. Here in our county 1 case Monday, and 6 as of yesterday. Today's numbers not yet listed.
San Antonio had 15 cases yesterday, including a nurse, and 2 doctors. As of this morning, that number is 25
Only 1 case in Seguin, so far.
I wonder if that's what I had 2 weeks ago, only a mild case of it? I didn't have fever but everything else. 🤧

I'd almost hope that was true. I'm guessing that natural infection results in immunity. They are starting to find that 'oldy but goldies' are not the only people potentially endangered.

Yep, my immune system is pretty strong...I take Vit A, D3, C, magnesium and zinc, all good to strengthen the immune system. Also milk thistle and Omega-3 (Krill oil).

I heard on a report, that they were thinking of using the blood from those that have had Covid19 to develop a vaccine! :idunno

Yes, that has been done for many pathogens. Not a new idea. But it will take a long time to process the volume that is needed .

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee and the TP, Shad. You are a true friend.
Wet and rainy here this morning.
Mom showed her thoughtful mothering side again this year and never called me on my birthday to acknowledge my existence. I expected as much. She's always been a let down for me. But I'm the first one she calls when she wants something. :idunno
I'm sorry to hear that, Tonya. Did I miss your birthday, as well? When is/was it?? I hate missing peoples birthdays :(

Was is the governor of NY or the mayor of NYC that didn't want to close schools because he needs medical workers to work?

if they are made of natural fibres, it might help. Apparently the virus is desiccated relatively quickly on such a surface. It's plastics and stainless steel to avoid (lives up to 9 days on them!!!) and synthetic fibres are a form of plastic. Copper's relatively good too - the virus dies within 4 hours on copper. Remember all those old cooking pans from pre-antibiotic days were made of copper ... 🤔
This is why I have mostly wood cutting boards

They are working(A lab in Canada) on an immune Therapy that was first used back in 1918. It will help someone with covid fight it but is not a vaccine. The Vaccine is being worked on with isolated virus cells though
