Yes, it is early, but not early enough for some! This is the fire today that DS@ is on. It is really screaming with the dry winds.

Just for grins, the current state of the wrestling room. It still has the hay tarp on it and just maybe, we will stick with that until it turns into a greenhouse down the road.
Snow might be good then, eh?

Ran one dog today and then cleaned and mowed around the dog pens. We are leaving early tomorrow for a field trial. Word via the gossip line is that they do not have an adequate supply of game. This may make for a long and frustrating day. Have to go as the club is run by a close friend who tends to get his feeling hurt easily.

What do they use for 'game'?
Is the area fenced and stocked with said game?
Areas are fenced and stocked with naturally raised cottontail rabbits. Predation is a constant problem. Also this is the time of year when a 'die off' frequently happens. Earlier trials at this club did not show a very good population of young rabbits. I know that they also have a constant weasel problem.
hope it goes well--by the way--there is no rabbit die off--they ALL came here for my gardens!
