I just got back from running the dogs. Wanted to get one last one in before the storm hits. We ran into the border collie 3-pack. All were very nice and gentle meeting Piper.

She's so smart! She wanted out of the shoulder carrier when we were on the bit of black top road and when she was out, Bella came bursting over some tall grass towards us and landed about 2' from her and Piper gave a sharp yap and lunged for her to let her know, "HEY! I'm WALKING here!!" Bella knew exactly where she was. She jumps near Skittles like that all the time but HE knows Bella watches out for where he is. Piper is just making sure!

Welcome to the Cafe, Joela. We have a fully stocked kitchen for making coffee and folks often bring goodies in for everyone to enjoy.

I heard rain last night, and it turned to sleet in the middle of the night. DH planned to go to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo (cool air museum in Kalamazoo, MI), and I was worried he wouldn't be able to. But it was 37 when I got up, so warm enough not to be a problem. He's there now, and

I have the house to myself! :wee With Freya, of course. :thumbsup

This hasn't happened in several weeks, so it's nice to have my space.

Isn't that great! I'm finally remembering what it was like to live alone and I love it. Not that living with DH wasn't great because it was. We were very well suited to each other. But the real DH has been gone for quite a long time now.

Thank you Sally. I know exactly what you mean about having house to yourself. It does not happen for me often! Edited to say we have had rain for a week ! The sun is out today! Ahhhhhh!
