Ok, when i came home today my parakeet was severely hurt. I do not have the funds to take her to a vet. Her leg is black/purple and is completely lifeless, around the top of the leg it is bloody and a little fleshy. She will eat and drink just a little from my hand, but wont go to bowls. I dont think she can move her leg at all, its just floppy.
Please help i really dont want her to die! I cleaned it a little with peroxide and qtips.

This is something that she really needs to see a vet for, there's not much we're going to be able to help you with. It sounds as though it could be severely broken, in which case a vet would need to see it to see if it can be splinted and saved or if it should be removed. It might also be mostly severed, if it is bleeding at the top and she can't move it, which, again, would need a vet and a possible amputation. She's probably in a lot of pain and the kindest thing for her is to get her to a vet, and if you can't afford the treatment, I know it's sad, but the best thing for her would be to have her put down so she is out of pain. Can you borrow money from someone? Some vets will also do payment plans.

She doesnt seem to be in pain, But if it isnt treated what will happen? Will she die or will it fall off?

She could die, if infection sets in. She might not seem to be in pain, but birds are very good at hiding it. If her leg is purple and blue and dangling, I'm sure she's having pain.

Is there no way you can get her to a vet? You can try to keep it clean and disinfected but I'm sure she's in pain and there's little chance it will heal correctly without a vet if it is broken badly or she severed a nerve somehow.

She lived a good week 1/2 spoiled rotten after the accident. The she just went to sleep and didn't wake up.
