In the Brooder
Brings back fond memories as a kid. Dad worked on boats at a marina and they pulled a boat out of storage that had a robin's nest in it. The nest got evicted so that the boat could be readied for a customer to come pick it up. Dad thought us kids could use the nest & eggs for classroom credit or whatnot. On the way home all 3 eggs hatched. Of those 3, one made it to adulthood and we had a neat pet for most of that summer. Fun fact: a single robin can eat almost 2 pounds of worms. Every day. Or 5 dozen night crawlers if you leave the lid ajar on the bait bucket......
