12 week old pullets go back to bed late morning

That is just what they do. My neighbors hens lay around 10:00. I think their Easter Eggers. I thought maybe sine their coop wasn’t ready and they stayed in the house at night, that was the reason. Maybe since their hens they have a built in clock that tells them to go rest

My first flock used the coop only for laying and nighttime. My new girls are in and out all day - they roost up at various times; just seem to like hanging out in there. Now that one of them is laying and the other three are checking out the egg boxes, everyone is in and out all day. Traffic jams at the pop door.
