13th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I can't math. We had 13 hatch out of the 15 that made it to lock down. Was sitting here trying to figure out where the 2 chicks were as my math wasn't working looking at them in the tub

What should the temperature of the brooder be? I've always aimed for 90-95, but that's with chicks from the feedstore. Since they're younger and in a 99.5 degree incubator, should it be warmer?

First baby out at 9:25pm. 2 pipped eggs. 1 pipped and zipping, but had to go put my kids to bed. It'll probably be out already by the time I get back to the incubator. The very first egg that pipped sometime between 2:30 and 7:50am has not done anything since. I haven't seen any movement or anything. Praying that it didn't quit on me!

We are getting an occasional peep from the brooder... but NO pips.

My sister took a video while I was gone. This was one of the three that hatched-I took screenshots.

Is there something wrong with this baby's head? It looks deformed in the pictures.

My friend who is incubating the eggs for me said one of the eggs pipped on the bottom.

Bottom as in where the air cell is but on the bottom part as the egg is flat. Not sure how to explain. So the pip hole is facing the "floor" of the incubator.

Will it be fine?

Sad to say I had 3 ducks hatch of 12 set. Last was born today. That's it for my "Easter Hatch" - early, and a poor showing
