Have any of them started sun bathing yet? If not, wait until they do! When my Mom first saw a chicken start sun bathing, she thought the hen had "literally" dropped dead.

Yes also when day-week old chicks/ducklings just plop down to nap and they just look dead. Don’t even get me started on the heart attack I got when my ducklings hatched and they were all just laying looking lifeless in the incubator (first time hatching for me obviously )
