17 weeks and getting red

These two SLW are 17 weeks and getting red with large combs and wattles. Does this mean eggs soon?

Could very well be.
Tho pullets can drive you mad, looking really red one minute(usually from exertion or excitement) then paling back out again.

Thank you!!! The one with the rose comb stays red at all times. She may be my first layer. I’ll have to try the other methods! Or just wait for an egg ha.

Many Pullets will become very vocal about a week or two before they start lay. I've had them suddenly start following me around talking up a storm.
