2018 Hatchalong

Hi. I'm so excited! I will be hatching( fingers crossed) geese for the first time!!! I'm picking up about 8 Pilgrim egggs this evening. The incubator is sset at 99.5 a about 52% humidity. I have 2 thermomoters and Hygromiters and an automatic turner. Misting bottle nearby for day day 15. Is there anything else you can think of that I might need?

Welcome to the hatchalong! If the eggs are super fresh, then I'd maintain 30-35% humidity.

They bred twice sunday when i let them out to graze, she now has nine, and i have not seen her leave the nest in two days...

Babe has been sitting for 5 days, I have been incubating 17 eggs for 6 days, and my uncle started incubating about 50 or so eggs 2 days ago. Hopefully lots of goslings soon!!

Excited to find a goose hatchalong thread. I've got my incubator set up, but it won't be turned on until it's a little bit closer to egg time. This will be my first time trying my hand at hatching goose eggs, so I'm super excited.

I'm getting some tufted roman eggs from someone kind of nearby (I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more before making the trip...hopefully in the next week or two).
