Scroll down to the bottom of the payment screen, you'll see a gray box. Click on that and you can pay with a debit or credit card.

You can do 4 separate orders and put their info in the ship to section.

Is staff aware that when done this way, the people receiving the gifted calendars also get an invoice with our username, full name, and address on them?

I've gifted a few calendars this way. All people got the invoice with all of my info.

Yes, unless requested otherwise, I put in an invoice. I have no way of knowing if it is a gift or just someone ordering for someone else.
In the comments you can request a gift receipt or ask that no receipt be put in with the order.
