3 week old Speckled Sussex gender? UPDATE: 7 week old pics!

Hey everyone, one of my chickens is a speckled breed. I think it's a rooster though and wanted to hear from some of you if you think it is a rooster. Here are some pics.

whatever breed, not sure it is pure Sussex, it is a cockerel

It sure looks like a rooster to me. I am looking at his tail (drooping) and his saddle feathers (toward the back). I couldn't tell by the pictures, but are there any spurs?

Yeah, I think so. It's good for sexing of SS, though, so we'll leave it. We used to remove older threads that resurfaced, but we usually don't anymore, not if there is great information in them.

Here is my 9 week SS. Do we think she's a pullet? She's so friendly and greets me every morning. She has a lot of white but also a pretty small comb and very little waddle development
