We love our ladies, but we are blessed to be having a second child and it's turned out to be too much work for us to handle our next transition!

Beautiful hens, healthy, all good layers, fed all organic feed since we raised them from chicks.
Pickup or delivery if you're close. We live just south of San Francisco, near Daly City.
1 Blue Maran
2 Buff Orpingtons
1 Australorp
2 Easter Eggers
Happy henning!

Hugs!

Congratulations on your second child!

Your chickens look beautiful! I live too far away and I am downsizing on my chickens too. I skipped summer school this past summer so I missed out on the new chicken math. Now I've got too many chickens for my pastures!

Congratulations!
Let me know if you're still looking for a home for your ladies! We have 4 acres in the Santa Cruz mountains and will be adding a new coop/run (12' x 40') soon. Birds free range in our orchard & forest during the day and secured in coop at night. Total flock 40ish chickens/ 40ish ducks. We do hatch out our own eggs- keeping about 3-4 roos (and 3-4 drakes). However, we do (eventually) eat our birds, esp spare boys, but there's not a timeline, but can understand if you'd prefer a home without that possible case.
Our current chicken flock has Maran (roo only), black gold-laced orphs, EE, and we previously had Australorpe sisters in Woodside, so familiar with those breeds.

best!

Hello, have you found a home for your chickens? My girlfriend and I are very interested and are located in Pacifica.
