6 Week Lavender Orpington šŸ¤”

That's a cockerel. Here's a perfect example of mine. The 2 far left are pullets and the one on the right is a cockerel:

So the folks that have answered on here have way more experience than me, so I wonā€™t pretend to know otherwise, so instead Iā€™ll show you what my 9 week old LO (pretty positive pullet) looks like to compare.

Hi all! New chicken mom here.
I have four 6-week olds.. Iā€™ve ruled out 3 of the 4 breeds being pullets.
Could anyone give me their input on this giant lavender orpington?

Her legs are so long itā€™s almost like they fold twice when she lays on the ground. I donā€™t see any red yet.. totally peach.. but.. I have interesting luck. Help!?
Thanks in advance chicken friends :)View attachment 3542444
Beautiful!!

Not suprising. Young cockerels are always appear more friendly because they are a bit more Courageous.

There certainly is a slight chance this will still be a pullet. I was recently 100% fooled with a bird here. Looked like a certain cockerel on all accounts, but the comb and wattles just stopped developing at about 6 weeks.

Just waiting for that egg to make it official.
Sheā€™s a hen!!!!!
