I have an old glass doll that I do not know the age of. It is new enough to have a Made in China tag, but it is glass. And as far as I am aware, glass dolls are not made anymore. 🤔 I used to have a collection of glass dolls from before the 1950s, but due to a home problem, they were all damaged beyond repair and I had to say goodbye to them. 😔
 
I got this from my grandmother many years ago. Anybody know anything about such a tin box? It's about 3x4x2.

Here is what I have found so far: It is from the 1920s, it is made of bronze, and it was used for trinkets and jewelry. It was a very popular item at street markets, but production ended when Japan invaded China in 1931.
I believe she had a brother that did a lot of traveling. I wouldn't be surprised if it was picked up on a trip to somewhere like San Francisco as a souvenir.
