Today my two Pekins found a small puddle in the yard and were digging like I've never seen. Then they started stomping their feet repeatedly. It was hilarious! What the heck were they doing? I got a so-so video if anyone wants...

It is clearest in beginning right before I started laughing and showing off my superb camera talent.

No idea on the stomping? Man I wish I knew what they were doing.

They were playing and sounds like they were really enjoying it.

I've caught my ducklings doing that and about busted a gut laughing at the cutness!!!! I call it happy feet

They've only done it in puddles, or wet wet ground. I am not sure but I think they are trying to squish the water around to help moisten the area they are poking their bills into.

Cute as heck when they do it!!!!!
