Am I the only one loosing sleep at night? Heat lamp woes

Its been below freezing here off and on this past month. So the heat lamp is a must, but MAN my guineas squawk all night and the roosters crow at all hours

Any suggestions?

Yes. I thought that was supposed to disturb them less.

you can also get a "ceramic heating element" with NO light at all, it screws into a regular socket like any lightbulb..... go to a reptile store and ask.. i think the big chain stores have them too (petsmart, petco) or order on-line...
lots of heat, NO light!!!!

The only reason I can see them needing heat in Oklahoma is if they are babies.
I live in Arkansas, how different can the temps be?
To each his own, but mine haven't needed a heat lamp since they were five weeks old.
