April 2020 Hatch-A-Long! All are welcome!

Deathlayers silver or golden?
They're silver I think. These are my new boys. They're their brothers eggs though. My friend has 2 of them and gave us a dozen of their eggs.

Handsome boys!
We got them from a friend at no charge. They're super friendly and nice.

I'm not sure what the offspring of their brothers will look like because they are part death layer and part golden comet. We are going to keep a few of the females because I just sold all of my young females that were POL.

Here’s my first baby! A little silver colored Olive Egger. The lavender americauna has a pip now too and i thought i saw wiggles on the other two eggs but it’s hard to tell. The L. A. has been pipped since 5am... I hope it comes out soon.

Two more duckies to go. Still tapping and cheeping in their ovoid cells. If they make it, that will be fourteen little cheepers.
I started out with two dozen. Discarded one with a bashed in spot. Repaired a crack with acrylic ink. Had seven clears. Tossed the repaired one on lockdown day... it was dead. Had one hatch backward with a weak neck and an umbilical hernia. It died, wrapped up comfy in a warm coffee mug. Poor little thing.

Soooo, hoping for two more babies, then on to other eggies. Maybe... I dunno... I have a dozen Chantecler chicks arriving Friday. Maybe I ought to hold off a bit...
