Pretty curious if anything will come of these eggs.. my girl has been sitting hard out on her eggs for around 13 to 14 days give or take (iv counted 13 days from the day I noticed her sitting).. she only gets off from what I notice twice a day only to flap her wings, eat, drink n goes straight back to her eggs.. I don't think she moves at all through the night. Has Anyone had any naturally hatched eggs n left it too mum n dad to look after n raise them? I was thinking now it's cooled off a little here in qld (mind you it's still not a winter type weather lol) I could get my girl a heat lamp for night time and for when the chicks come along. Would this be a good idea? When would you think eggs may start hatching, is it dead on 18 to 21 days or around those days? Do I need to help with the process or can I leave it to the parents?
