Hi all, I was hoping to get answers to the following two question RE: my chicks. I got all of them at once about 1.5 month ago and was told that there was only 1 male and the rest female. However, it seems that there are a few cockerels in the flock. So my questions/help needed are the following:

1) Can you identify the genders based off of the picks? I'm curious to know what each's gender is.
2) Am I going to have a problem on my hands soon with multiple roosters and should I get ahead of it? I've heard two different schools of thought on this. One is that it shouldn't be a problem if they all grew up together and the other school of thought is that for certain they will be aggression between the roosters, and I should get rid of all but 1 of them. Would love to get the collective advice and guidance from you all.

Thank you in advance,

I’m not sure on genders, but I think how many roosters you keep depends on the amount of space you have for them + ratio of roosters/cockerels to hens/pullets. I’ve heard 8-10 hens for every rooster and the more space the better for them to keep their own territories.
