I have a simple Styrofoam type..it is actually from my classroom! Nothing fancy but has worked faithfully for years now. I am goings under my broody...I am going to try hatching my eggs under my broody

, but she is not totally committed yet(I think!) so I have my bator set up just in case she says "no thank you" to sitting on eggs!

I've bee using a Little Giant still air for years. Been getting a good hatch rate, but the last set I had some unexplained temp spikes that had me scared.

Got my ebay FBCM eggs today with extras

I will be loading these and few more in my homemade cooler bator

I hope to use broody hens once my chicks are adults, but for now diy styrofoam cooler it is.I did place an old computer fan in the bator to move the air around.
