Augusta Maine Poultry Swap/ Farm Days thread June- Dec 2013

We have another swap this saturday, Oct 26th 8:30-1 at the 420 Civic Center Dr, in Augusta at the Tractor Supply store.parking lot.
a list of what I know is coming
Muscovy ducks
call ducks,

bantam wyandotte hens and
standard wyandotte roosters
homemade soap
craft items
carved pumpkins.

looking for barred rock pullets if anyone is bringing any to sell at this swap. let me know. I lost 3 last week to hawks.

we had a really good turn out today. depending on the weather, we may or may not have another swap in Nov. it's getting cold so playing it by ear.

I have a lady in my neighborhood that is in need of a few, 3-5 any breed (layers) up to 2 years old. Drop me a note or I'll come back here to check it out. My fingers are crossed that someone out there has a few to spare. Thanks!
