Thank you! I will wait another week and see what I can see Im surprised so far at how much gray they have. It was unexpected as a first time hatcher of this breed.

I am a fairly new Cemani owner. Hatched eggs from Calli Farms/Feather lover stock this past July. My two started laying at 5 months. They may slow down, but so far I get
two eggs every other day from them.

I have a breeding .ayam cemani chickens..a beautiful specimine of a rooster and his lovely mates. O just put 6 eggs in the incubator to hatch
. Any one from illinois breeding or raising these birds? I hope to be sellin some eggs to hatch or chicks..

Feather stubs on legs have popped up, unfortunately... you don't want to breed those though... come on over to this thread and post, many of us ACers over there...

Yep, they're most likely pure, but as Ravyn said, those aren't birds you'd want to breed. You don't want to be passing that trait down. Please do come join us in the breeding thread!

Thanks! I'll grow these eight birds out and see what I end up with. They are so flighty that I haven't really looked them all over yet. They are still adjusting to. It being in their shipping boxes.
