Yes, I've seen that thread by Big Medicine, I'm not planning on using this Brahma, but am trying to learn

You can still learn a lot by reading a thread dedicated to breeding, even if you aren't necessarily breeding yourself. It's a good thread, very interesting. I'm excited to watch my partridge and blue partridge develop; the darks, too, but I've seen darks since hatcheries do have that variety, albeit, not the quality of these.

Hi I have 5 backyard light brahmas 3 have the same tails 2 have different tails can't realy tell if their Roos I got them on April 11 this year as day olds I can get better pics if needed

so 11 weeks if my math is right? Roos should be getting a bigger comb and waddles and they'll be darker red.

Looks like both of them are pullets. The tails are probably attributed to genetic variations especially if they are hatchery birds.
