I just bought 2 Millie fluer hens. Is there a way to tell how old they are?

I read somewhere that with each progressive molt they aquire more white in their feathers....?

How old do you think they are? Not yet laying eggs.

Those are gorgeous! Great find!!! Let me see what I can find out....and venture a guess.

So...since they are still so young we call young females pullets. You will see their combs pink up tremendously before they lay. They are not red until they are close to laying...or if they are a roo they will be red pretty early.
Are both birds combs pretty similar in size and color right now?

Did you try the breeder listings for the Ameraucana Breeders Club or the Ameraucana Alliance? I was able to get silver chicks from John Blehm earlier this year. They are growing out very nicely.

Hi I am curious what is all the colors Bantam ameraucanas come in? I know the ones accepted in the standard but I am sorta hoping that someone got some bantam Mille Fleur ameraucanas I won't be buying till next year but wanna start finding breeders.
