Today we were out doing some more upgrades to our run/coop and found raccoon hair on the roof. Looked like one of the special roofing screws had snagged some. Made Hubby and I happy that we *did* predator-proof our run well even though we didn't think we needed to go as far as we did.
We figured that these city coons would go for cat food left on porches or something first... Our main concern was stray dogs (but we made the roof of the run really secure anyway). Oh, and what did I just hear? Six thankfully squawky begauckys as well...
