Yes! I love the titmice too!
They are precious, and in the winter they fluff out their feathers!
This winter, my Dad and I were outside on a freezing day,
he noticed a chickadee hopping around in the snow,
we walked up to it and she or he stayed in the same spot,
it didn't eat bread or crackers.
That night we went into the barn to get a overnight box...
We walked outside and he was missing...
Worried, the next day I woke up early to get snow/sunset pictures,
he was hopping on the front lawn. He was fluffy and I think a baby.
He was flying fine too! And I named him or her Snowy!
The third day, a storm was rolling in,
Snowy was trying to nest on the ground,
we have hawks so I set up a bird house for him.
I do not know if Snowy used it but the next day he was fine!
Fast forward...
I haven't seen him ever since,
but a week after, there were a bunch of baby chickadee's flying around!
I love nature!
