All chickens are born with combs.. they don't grow in. And just because you can see her comb doesn't mean shes a cockerelI just bought this one Friday. She's supposed to be a pullet too but already has a comb. Also not sure if it's a Hoover or Concord the girl was brand new!

But they made it sound like there were Hoover's black and concord blacks two different breeds. Can't figure out if they're Asian black or a hybrid or black sex link. I'm new and somewhat clueless.It looks like the Concord . Hoover is the name of the hatchery they came from in Iowa.
