no red wattles, I would say pullet. my boys at 4 weeks had huge and red combs and wattles.

I agree, it was the side view that put me in that direction, upright stance but mostly that straight line across the bridge of the beak. Hate to second guess Chooks Man though!

Thanks for everybody's input. I go back and forth but perhaps patience is in order. I'll post an update whe bandit is older.

My 3 week old FBCM already has a significant comb and pink wattles coming in, so I'm 99% it's a roo. Yours looks like a pullet to me.

I've had a BCM roo that in the past, had this group even confused until he was around 10 weeks old. That's not the norm for the breed but that's why I'm leaning cockerel. That comb may not be pink yet but it's bigger and the upright stance.

Take a photos of just a head so we can see the comb and weatles. close shot will be nice
